Race Admin update
Our summer series is going well. Twelve boats entered the series. We have completed 6 races and we have three weeks remaining in the summer series. Results and announcements are posted at our Racing Kiosk link http://race.chnyc.org .
A boat lottery for the fall series is scheduled for the evening of 24 July at the marina dockoffice before boats leave for the starting area.
Winslow Regatta is scheduled for Saturday 27 July. Eight boats have paid season race fees, including the race fee for Winslow. The NOR and SI are posted on the official website link http://www.chnyc.org.
IF you are a season "ticket holder" AND you do not plan to race Winslow, THEN email the race chair at race.chair@chnyc.us to be removed from the scratch sheet.
IF you have not paid the Winslow race fee AND want to enter, THEN visit our online entry and registration site.
THE RULES WILL CHANGE
Our Wednesday series Sailing Instructions will be amended for the Fall series that begins 31 July and continues through 2 October. A draft of the amendment is posted at the website, Kiosk, notice board, and as a file below. It will change two rules that are highlighted in yellow. Boats will be assigned to provide assistants for race committee. Duty Assignments will be posted on the official website and on our official notice board at the marina office. The amendment will be discussed during the race committee meeting scheduled after racing on 17 July. Competitors are invited to attend.
