Coasters Harbor Navy Yacht Club
We are 200 of the most passionate folks in Newport when it comes to sailing and power boating with the Navy community. Members are active duty personnel from all services, veterans, retired or government civilians and their families. More than half of us own a boat and the rest use the 25 boats available for rent at the marina.
Our focus
Our focus is education and enjoyment. We support two one design fleets in basic and advanced training and qualification with more than 300 skippers per year. We support competitive sailing by running more than 30 races per season including 3 regattas for more than 100 racers. We also support other Newport organizations in their programs.
Our online registration system and store
The online registration system and store was established as a service to our members as a means of making registration for events, payment of dues and purchase of CHNYC logo merchandise easier. CHNYC is a tax exempt 501(c)3 organization.
