Understanding navigation and how to plot your current location or find a safe haven is useful information for both the Captain and First Mate. Again this year Robb Fuller and Mike Van Vleck are conducting a very informative and useful class that makes navigation fun and easy.

WHEN: Saturday, May 18, 2013 (1000-1200)

WHERE: Harbor Island Conference Center, Building 684, Perry Rd, Navy Station Newport

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN: You will learn how to plot current position, determine where to seek shelter and how to get there and other navigation skills.

WHAT YOU NEED FOR CLASS: NOAA CHART 132218 OR equivalent, basic plotting instruments( dividers, parallel rulers, plotter or triangle, pencil and paper

REGISTRATION COST: Free
