R/19 Summer lottery scheduled Wed, 13 MARCH

The snow is gone and it's time to turn our focus to the start of the 2013 sailing/race season. I believe the boats will start going in the water in mid April. I will hold the lottery on Wednesday, 13 March, 1700, Topside at O'Club. The reason for such an early lottery is to get assistance securing the mast as the boats go in the water This will will help the marina and allow race skippers to tune their assigned boat sooner. My hope is to email a skipper when their boat is in and mast will be up. I've spoken with Nick and he's good with this plan so we'll try to coordinate it. A tool box with a tuning gage, tuning instructions, tools, cotter pins, and black tape will be located in the Marina office, this box is provided for this purpose. Please ensure it and it's contents are returned to the Marina office when you finish using it. Please let me know by Wednesday, 6 March if you will skipper a boat in the Summer Series and if you want to participate in the drawing of boat numbers. Information on the sail purchase will be discussed at that time. Again if you plan to skipper a boat I need to know soon. Hope to see you there.
