2016 Cruise to Dutch Harbor 9-10 July

[b][u]July 9 and 10: Cruise to Dutch Harbor Cruise.[/b] Good day everyone. I am WAY behind on my coordination for the upcoming cruise to Dutch Harbor this weekend. I returned from Bermuda on FR and have been, well you know how it goes. Anyway, I called Dutch Harbor Marina and talked to Hayley. They still have 10 transient moorings available for this weekend. You must call to reserve a mooring--and it is non-refundable within 7 days. OR go online and reserve using the Transient Reservation Request.The reservation includes access to their shuttle launch and facilities ashore (shower, head, WiFi, laundry) at the marina and restaurant. Call to reserve [url=tel:401-423-0630]401-423-0630[/url]. Of course you can anchor too. Shuttle times: FR & SA 8am-10pm; SU 8am - 9pm The Shack restaurant: 11am - 6pm. Last order taken at 5:45 Walk into town: 1 mile. Weather is forecast to be a bit wet: 60% SA and 50% SU....trending down and subject to change of course. I plan to depart the marina about 9:00 on SA. This way we can enjoy a nice, long SA at the harbor and Jamestown proper. Let's plan on sundowners at sundown--or before AND after! BTW you can raft-up with 2 boats as long as you coordinate with the marina and both boats pay the nightly fee. Once we know who is going and how many boats we can set up a meet point. Anchoring is always an option, however so anyone who wants to go on the 16th weekend please RSVP accordingly so I can help let everyone know who is going. I'll stop now that everyone is confused. Let me recap: 1) The Dutch harbor information is valid for both weekends. However mooring ball availaility is limited on the 16th. 2) If you're committed to this weekend RSVP so I can get everyone together. 3) If the 16-17 Jul weekend is better for you then RSVP for that weekend OR, 4) Do both!!
