Does this sound too good to be true? Block Island for Columbus Day Weekend. Guaranteed dockage at Paynes Dock for very reduced off season rates (e.g. 31-40ft $31.00/night; power additional). A group sail calling itself a race, PHRF certificates not required. A race in which the major competition is the Sunday Bloody Mary and Hors d’oeuvres contests. Newport Yacht Clubs 29th Annual Mitchell Columbus day race is open to all sailors. It is a great way to cap off a sailing season.
