CHNYC 2015 SUMMER SAILSTICE. Sailstice is a worldwide celebration of sailing on the weekend closest to the summer solstice – this year the solstice falls on Saturday, June 20, 2015! This event is for the entire CHNYC community!
For those of you who haven’t heard this is a worldwide celebration of sailing (boating) on the weekend closest to the summer solstice – this year the solstice falls on Saturday, June 20! This event is for the entire CHNYC community–motor and sail! To keep things simple this first time we’ve chosen Potter’s Cove Jamestown (just across the bay) as our “raft up” location. Solar noon is 10:47 am. Again, to keep things simple plan to be in position at 11:00 so we can fire a canon or blow our horns together at 11:00. Plan to have a “floating lunch”. Bring something to share. Visit other boats. Make new friends. And if you’re willing, each boat can sacrifice a merman or mermaid to Neptune or Triton to ensure a season full of fair winds. This will be a big, fun event!

You will automatically be entered into a prize drawing with a chance to win hundreds of prizes. Register your name or your boat or both.
