The Rhodes NOR needs to be finalized soon so that the Coast Guard can be notified in early February of our race intentions. If you have been following the e-mail exchanges between Captain Irwin and me, you are aware that some major changes are being considered by the race committee. In order to get a sense of the preferences of the fleet I’d like to get together as many skippers as possible at 4:30 on Wednesday, January 21, at the O-club to discuss all that might be changed. This will not be a formal meeting but is only informational to assist the decision making process of the race committee. The duration of the meeting will be limited to one hour as a CHNYC Board meeting starts at 5:30.
