Jonathan Thurston from Lanex Yachting in Jamestown will provide an overview of the latest material and technology trends in rigging and ropes, covering types, uses, and care. The seminar will also focus on practical inspections, identifying wear, and knowing when to replace lines. Examples of splices and shackles fit for purpose will be presented. Considerations for mooring and anchor lines will be reviewed.
