On behalf of the CHNYC Executive Board and in accordance with articles 4.2, 4.6 and 6 of the CHNYC bylaws, I am calling a General Membership Meeting and Election to take place on March 8, 2022, at 1800 via Zoom. We will vote to elect a secretary and on a proposed amendment to Article 4.6 of the Bylaws.
Election: Jay Wilkins resigned from the Secretary position. Article 4.2 reads that in the event of resignation, the remaining officers shall call a general election without delay to replace that officer. In accordance with Article 4.7.4, five regular members brought forward a petition nominating Monica Black Blanchard for the position.
Notice of proposed amendment to Article 4.6:
From – The Annual General Membership Meeting will be held in November each year, at a place to be determined by the Executive Board.
To – The Annual General Membership Meeting will be held in October or November each year, at a place to be determined by the Executive Board.
