Hi everyone. The time has arrived to firm-up plans to join the 2016 CHNYC Summer Sailstice–THIS SUNDAY, 19 JUNE!.
We plan to sail/motor/dingy to Potter Cove–directly across from the marina near the NW end of the Newport bridge
N41 30’44.08″ W71 21’46.19″.
I plan to depart the marina about 12:00. Let’s all try to be in the area between 1:00 and 2:00. Once everyone arrives we will get together and choose a local moment in time to celebrate the Solstice! Bring a horn or some noise-making device!
Bring your boat and some friends plus a beverage or two and something to share.
Last year we rafted-up four boats with two other boats nearby. We had a great time! Let’s see how many boats we can get together. Maybe we will get some recognition from the nation-wide website.
