Annual General Membership Meeting via Zoom.

• Description: Join us for the annual CHNYC General Membership Meeting (GMM).  We are hosting the GMM via Zoom, and separate from our fall banquet. The GMM is an opportunity to hear club updates, vote on club business, and partake in the turnover of board members and special assistants. We hope you will join us!

• Below are the items that we will vote on during the General Membership Meeting on Wednesday, October 23rd:

  • Approval of 2023 GMM Minutes:
    • See minutes posted on CHNYC “Members Only Forum”

  • Approval of 2025 Executive Board nominations:
  1. • Commodore: Monica Blanchard, to serve another term
     • Vice Commodore: Jill Skeet, to serve another term
     • Executive Rear Commodore: Kim Lyons, to serve another term
     • Treasurer: Jeanne Kelly (to relieve Charles Jenison)
     • Secretary: Wendy Lang (to relieve Olivia Dube)
  • Approval to change title of “Executive Rear Commodore” to “Immediate Past Commodore,” and update Bylaws to reflect this change:
    • CHNYC Bylaws, Section 4.1.3
      • From: The immediate past Commodore shall be designated as the Executive Rear Commodore and shall be a regular member and shall assist the Commodore and Vice Commodore in the execution of the duties of their offices, and shall act in the place of the Commodore in the absence of the Commodore and the Vice Commodore.
      • To: The Immediate Past Commodore shall be designated as such, shall be a regular member and shall assist the Commodore and Vice Commodore in the execution of the duties of their offices. The Immediate Past Commodore shall act in the place of the Commodore in the absence of the Commodore and the Vice Commodore.
    • CHNYC Bylaws, Section 4.2.1: change “Executive Rear Commodore” to “Immediate Past Commodore”
  • Approval for continuance of 2024 dues structure ($50/individual, $60/family)
