Agenda: Dave Jewell from Cay Electronics in Portsmouth will provide a brief on different marine electronic packages, instrument integration, new equipment developments, satellite and emergency communications.
Jonathan Thurston from Lanex Yachting in Jamestown will provide an overview of the latest material and technology trends in rigging and ropes, covering types, uses, and care. The seminar will also focus on practical inspections, identifying wear, and knowing when to replace lines. Examples of splices and shackles fit for purpose will be presented. Considerations for mooring and anchor lines will be reviewed.

Join us as we kick off the 2025 boating season at Bristol Yacht Club. Our spring opener is the perfect
time to mingle with old friends, meet new members, and enjoy delicious hors d’oeuvres while enjoying
the majestic views of Bristol Harbor.
Bring cash for the 50/50 raffle. Tickets are $5 per ticket or $20 for 5 tickets. Funds raised will help
support CHNYC events and initiatives for our military community. Join in the fun and a chance to win
