Annual General Membership Meeting via Zoom.

If you cannot attend and would like to assign a proxy to vote for you, please provide send an email to Monica Blanchard (commodore@chnyc.us) and Wendy Lang (secretary@chnyc.us) stating your assigned proxy for the meeting.

• Description: Join us for the annual CHNYC General Membership Meeting (GMM) on Thursday, October 16 via Zoom. The GMM is an opportunity to hear club updates, vote on club business, and partake in the turnover of board members. We hope you will join us!
• Agenda:  Below are the items we will vote on during the GMM:

1. Approval for continuance of 2025 dues structure ($50/individual, $60/family)
2. Approval of October 23, 2024 GMM Minutes:

4. Approval of 2026 Executive Board nominations:

• • The following nominations are submitted by the CHNYC Nominating Committee. 
    • Commodore: Rob Schult (to relieve Monica Blanchard)
    • Vice Commodore: LCDR John Golden (to relieve LT John Nothacker)
    • Executive Rear Commodore: Monica Blanchard (to relieve Kim Lyons)
    • Treasurer: Jeanne Kelly, to serve another term
    • Secretary: Andrew Wittkamper (to relieve Wendy Lang)
  • Call for additional nominations due 10/2: Any person qualified in accordance with the provisions of CHNYC Bylaws paragraphs 4.1.1, 4.1.2, 4.1.3, 4.1.4, and 4.1.5 may be nominated for office by the Nominating Committee or by petition signed by five regular members. Notice of persons nominated for positions of officers shall be provided to each regular member no less than two weeks prior to the General Membership Meeting; therefore, additional nominations or petitions for this election must be presented to the Secretary no later than October 2, 2025 to be valid.

Fall Banquet & Awards Dinner

Date: Saturday 18 October, 1800 – 2200 

Location: Green Valley Country Club, 371 Union Street, Portsmouth RI 02871

Cost: $60 per person

Entrée Choice of:

– Beef – Slow Roasted Prime Rib

– Fish – New England Cod (cod filets baked in a bath of white wine, butter, hint of lemon, with a cracker & herb topping)

– Chicken – Chicken Parmigiana

– Vegetarian – Vegetarian, Vegan, and Gluten-Free options are available upon request. If you need one of these options, please email Anne Mitchell (social@chnyc.us) by October 10th

Entrée options include a soup or salad, green beans, oven roasted potatoes, dinner rolls

Dessert: Cake

After Dinner: Awards Ceremony, Raffle – Bring cash for the 50/50 raffle. Tickets are $5 per ticket, $20 for 5 tickets. Funds raised will support CHNYC events & initiatives for our military community. Join in the fun and a chance to win 50% of the pot!

No reservations accepted after 8 October and no walk-ins allowed at the door due to final headcount requirements.
