CHNYC plans to compete this year in both the Swanson (spinnaker) and Bay (non-spinnaker) Cup race on 23 Sept.
Club members had participated aboard various boats in past Swanson cups and done well. This year, the first all-CHNYC team
will consist of 3 boats racing in Swanson and 3 in the Bay Cup. Fifty percent of the crew must be yacht club members so
even boats that regularly race Tuesday night in Jamestown will be looking for crew.
Our yacht club will cover the cost of registration and snacks for the racers. We’ve had a number of boats and crew
members express interest in racing already but we’re always looking for more, so if you’re interested please contact
