In order for all to have easy access to documents associated with the request for redress and associated appeal for the 27 Sept 2017 Rhodes 19 race, I am attaching them here.

This was not very helpful to me. Only one of the three documents is on a [proper] US Sailing Protest/Redress form/format. That document's reverse/back side is blank without the [signed] Jury's finding of facts and decision. Please post the events - one step at a time. Recorded finish places + provisional score + redress hearing + jury decision + reopened hearing + jury decision + appeal + decision/disposition. This could be used in a club hosted training session [before racing starts] of what can happen when various opinions and assumptions are presented to a jury to influence facts, findings, decisions and eventually scoring. Maybe nobody cares after the trophies have been awarded and the boats are on the hard BUT every race season should strive to be better than the previous year. The club's officers and race management should seek constant process improvement. If the club has a remediation plan, please post it here. v/r, Concerned

Chuck, I concur on your assessment of the documentation. Tripp should have the signed copies and the annotated form. I have requested these from him so they may be posted. I have also asked Kim for the correspondance from the RSA (NBYA Appeals Committee) as she was copied on the two letters sent by Noel Field (NBYA Appeals Committee) dated 7 November 2017 and 22 January 2018.
