FAIR WINDS & FOLLOWING SEAS, JETHRO!
Just a note for you Shields sailors out there. Our friend and shipmate CDR Christopher "Jethro" Bodine, USN
concluded a 28-year naval career with his retirement ceremony aboard CG-59 USS PRINCETON on Friday,
15 June in San Diego, CA.
Jethro has crewed aboard several Shields, most notably with Harold aboard #1 COLUMBIA, and has also raced
in the NWC President's Cup. He's also crewed aboard SUMMER WIND in the PHRF fleet.
Jethro & his family will settle near Fresno, CA.
