Newport Yacht Club will be hosting a USSAILING Race Officer Seminar for all who are Race Committee participants and/or interested in becoming more involved with Club Race Committee activities for their respective Clubs.
This seminar will be held on February 25, 2023, from 0900 to 1700 at Newport Yacht Club Main Deck.

The seminar consists of ONE In-Person session on Saturday, February 25, 2023, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The seminar will be held at Newport Yacht Club, 110 Long Wharf, Newport, RI
There is approximately 90-120 minutes of REQUIRED pre-course work prior to the In-Person session. Attendance is required to complete and pass the course.
About 10 days before your course begins, you will receive an email from US Sailing <notifications@instructure.com>inviting you to participate in the course through Canvas, US Sailing’s online learning platform. Please click the “Get Started” link to complete your profile and access the required course materials.
The lead instructor will email you with additional course information.
Course fee: $40. A discounted US Sailing special introductory membership is available for first-timers during the registration process.
Snacks and drinks will be provided.
Registration closes Wednesday, February 15, 2023. Walk-In registrations are not allowed.
