We respect your privacy!

We collect the information you submit for registration and use it for CHNYC club purposes only.  Your email address is stored in the CHNYC online registration system with your name, address, member number and phone number.  If you buy anything, it stores the transaction amount, the method of payment used (e.g. check, credit card, paypal), order number and what you bought. We distribute club messages and the Telltale newsletter using the email address you provide.  For current members we use your postal address to send you the Telltale newsletter.

We save the information you enter with your membership in areas you would like to participate, or volunteer to help.  We will contact you for areas you indicate on your membership registration that you are willing to help. 

We provide a list of addresses to the Telltale newsletter printer so it may be prepared for bulk mailing.  Your information is not shared with third parties.  

Sometimes we hold events that include people who do not have routine access to the Naval Station, Newport.  We provide your registration information to the Naval Station Security Office to facilitate base access for these events.

We do not collect or store credit card information.  If someone pays by credit card or Paypal, they are directed to a trusted third party payment processor for the transaction (Paypal).  We actually do not have any credit card information flow through our system.  That's why we setup this online system to use PayPal, because they can securely handle credit card transactions.
